Typically therapy begins with a 10-15 minute phone call between Devin and the potential client to discuss some of the things a client wants to work on or is being challenged with. From there, an initial or “intake” Telehealth appointment is set up - that initial appointment takes an hour. Devin and the client talk more in depth about what brings the client to therapy and how Devin can help the client.
Therapy frequency depends on the needs of the client, but typically starts out as weekly for 60 minutes. All appointments take place via a HIPAA compliant Telehealth platform called TherapyNotes.

This practice is entirely Telehealth at this time.
Resolve and Resilience can see clients from their own spaces, wherever they are… ok, well, wherever they are as long as they’re in the great state of Illinois!

In short, not yet.
Telehealth Therapy sessions allow Devin to work with clients statewide. We are exploring the possibility of having a brick-and-mortar location in the future to offer in-person therapy sessions. Until then, see you online!
-
As of February 2026 we are able to schedule clients within one to two business days of outreach for their initial appointment.
It’s really important to this practice that clients be seen when they need support most, and that’s usually when they’re outreaching!

Great question! Therapy and treatment goals are individualized to each individual client. That being said, Devin employs a few different types of therapy and approaches including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Dialectic Behavioral Therapy
Humanistic Approach
Psychodynamic Therapy
Interpersonal Therapy
Somatic Therapy
Trauma- Informed Therapy

Absolutely. Devin identifies as a cis, hetero woman and a proud LGBTQ+ ally.
Above all, Devin strives to create a therapeutic space that is safe and welcoming for each client and believes that a huge part of creating such an environment is ensuring you can show up authentically and without fear of being scrutinized for however you identify.
